When you arrive Cairo. You are entering a land that abounds
in wonders and mysteries, many of which will be revealed to
you on this tour. You are met at Cairo International airport
and assisted through formalities. Then transferred to your
hotel for short rest.
Half-Day tour to visit one of the world favorite shopping
haunts- the Khan El Kahlili Bazaars. Lunch, then back to your
hotel for dinner & overnight. |

Cairo:
Museum-Pyramids-Old Cairo
After breakfast, full-day tour visiting the world-famous Egyptian
Museum, built by a French architect between 1897 & 1902.
It houses the largest collection that embraces the Pharaonic
and Greco-Roman periods. Upon completion of the museum visit,
you will leave for Giza majestic man-made Pyramids of Cheops,
Chefren & Mykernos. These Pyramids were considered as one
of the wonders of the ancient world. Every pyramid was built
with more than 2300000 stone blocks and the weight of each is
2.5 tons. The great Sphinx, represents a lion body with a human
head, stood about 350 meters from Cheops Pyramid. Lunch during
tour. Visit Old Coptic Cairo with the oldest churches. The Hanging
Church, which was originated in the 4th century, was built over
the southern gate of the Fortress of Babylon. Dedicated to the
Virgin Mary, its treasures include a 14th century wall painting
of the Nativity. Then move to the church of St. Sergius &
St. Bacchus, 5th century basilica, built over a crypt where
the Holy Family is believed to have stayed during flight into
Egypt. Then proceed to the Synagogue of Ben Ezra, the Jewish
Temple inside the Coptic area. Back to hotel for short rest,
then transfer to the railway station for your departure to Aswan.

Aswan:
Embarkation on Nile Cruise
Arrive Aswan railway station. Meet & transfer to your
Nile cruise. Check-in your luxurious cruise boat in time for
lunch, followed by a sail in a traditional Nile Felucca. Dinner.
Dancing music. Overnight.

Aswan
/ Kom Ombo / Edfu
Early morning sightseeing includes a view of the Aswan High
Dam, the ancient Granite Quarries, and the enormous Unfinished
Obelisk. No one is certain how the Egyptians managed to cut
granite, but experts believe they may have used water-soaked
wooden wedges in the stone's fault lines. Next, you go by boat
to the beautiful temple of Isis, rising from waters of the Nile
on the island of Philae, this is the only temple that was used
as a church too, before sailing to kom Ombo to visit the temple
of Sobek. Continuing to Edfu, You will enjoy a shipboard oriental
dinner and Egyptian Galabea Party.

Edfu
/ Luxor
This morning you will visit Edfu's beautifully preserved Temple
of Hours, and the continue through the lock to cruise downstream
to Luxor, former capital of the New Kingdom. Dancing music. |
| Day 6: ( B,L,D ) |
Luxor:
Karnak & Luxor Temples / thebes
Breakfast, check-out time. This morning your tour the awe-inspiring
temple complexes of Luxor & Karnak. Check-in your hotel.
Lunch. You will visit the temple of queen Hatshepust before
going on the valley of the Kings where you visit the tomb of
King Tutankhmon, discovered in 1922. Afterwards, proceed to
the valley of the Queens, cross the river Nile back to your
hotel. Dinner & overnight. |

Luxor
/ Cairo
Check-out after breakfast. Transfer to Luxor airport for your
flight back to Cairo. Arrive Cairo airport. Transfer to your
hotel. Time at leisure for wandering through the city or for
optional tours. |
